South Montana Red Rock Road
June 18, 2016
And when the rains of spring have passed and the sun is warm and dries out the land, the hills come alive with the simple songs of meadowlarks through the fresh green grasses.
And the winding road leads eastward in southern Montana. The red rock gravel is hard and crunches beneath footsteps. And the air is fresh, the wind slightly cool and filled with the calls and songs of many birds.
The road is long on the journey home.
Music: “Long Journey Home,” played on a Martin Orchestra Model Cutaway Guitar. Garageband.
